Head & Neck Lymphedema Management
Head and neck lymphedema is a common and often under-recognized complication of cancer treatment. Specialized therapy focuses on reducing swelling, improving tissue mobility, and supporting functional outcomes related to swallowing, speech, and voice. Management may include manual techniques, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to support long-term self-management.
Our Clinical Approach
Care is individualized, evidence-based, and guided by the specific medical and functional needs of each patient. Therapy may be initiated before treatment begins, during active treatment, or throughout survivorship. When appropriate, care is coordinated with the broader medical team to support continuity and optimal outcomes.
